Real-life retail inspiration from the world’s No. 1 retail trend tour provider.
Ideas.
Innovation feeds on ideas. And our retail safaris are all about ideas.
These in-person inspiration sessions take your team into the best retail spaces and concepts a city has to offer, helping stimulate new ideas and spark innovation. We particularly recommend London, New York and Paris, but we have delivered tours all over the world.
You see, to paraphrase Mark Twain, there is no such thing as a new idea. There are only old ideas that you turn to make new and curious combinations.
You need material to turn – a regular intake of ideas – and a curious mindset if you want to make these inspirational and innovative connections. Our retail safaris will give you both – and you’ll have fun to boot.
We’re not the No. 1 retail trends tour company for nothing. We’ve delivered safaris for the C-level teams of many top brands and retailers globally. And they keep coming back because they know to stay innovative they always need new ideas.

Insider Trends walk the talk when it comes to ‘experiential’ and ‘bespoke’ – you don’t get anything off-the-shelf or second-hand.
Mike ButlerThe Insider Trends tour stimulated lots of ideas about how we can create stronger connections with consumers in our store environment, and was a great launch activity for our new store design project.
Melissa PotterThe things you’ve shown us in London today will probably appear in other European cities in about four years’ time. It’s as close to stepping into the future as we can get.
Jorge MagañaWe came to find inspiration for our new major project. We needed to see the best of what’s happening in the world, but we had no time to go on a world tour. London’s a global city – you’ve showed us the best of what’s happening worldwide in a few hours. It’s been great.

Below are answers to some of the most common questions about retail safaris we get asked. If there’s anything else you’d like to know do get in touch.
Any way you want! Our retail safaris are completely bespoke so the cost and content is always flexible. We will consult with you on your requirements to tailor packages to your specific needs as a brand or a company.
A typical package in London might start at 9am with a presentation about the future of retail, before we take you on a tour of innovative and inspiring stores and unique retail business models. Half-way through we break for a networking lunch where you can meet with strategists, professionals and innovators.
Again, because all of our tours are bespoke the cost totally depends on the package, season and model. We will work with you to create a tour that fits your budget.
Currently every retail safari is privately run for your group. We are considering open tours that anyone can book a place on in the future. If you’d like to be kept up-to-date with these please fill out the contact form below and we’ll email you the dates when they are live.
There are a number of different options available to suit every budget. For larger groups or those with a higher budget we recommend private executive transport. Smaller groups or those with a lower budget can walk or use the tube if you prefer.
We do not arrange travel to the retail safari location, flights or hotels, but we are very happy to help with suggestions.
We run retail trend tours in cities all over the world but particularly recommend London, New York and Paris. You can see some other options above, but if you have another location in mind we have a good network of partners all around the world that we can connect with.
We informally know a lot of the spaces (and their individual policies) because we visit a lot. We’ve never had an issue or not been welcome in a store while on a safari.
